Equestrielle is the collection of the knowledge I gain about the horse world through pursuit of equine science studies and equestrian volunteerism.

A Brief History

My interest in horses began at age six with my first riding lesson and grew from there. I did not always have access to horses growing up, but pursued lessons as a young adult with the goal of gaining confidence and knowledge. One of the things I've enjoyed most about my time with horses is the combination of riding and travel — experiencing the local horses in Iceland, the Cotswolds, Paris, and throughout the US.

In the Fall of 2018 equine therapy was brought to my attention for the first time and I was captivated by the level of help and healing a horse can bring to mental, emotional, and physical areas. Since that time I have volunteered with an equine therapy organization to grow my skills in this area.
